Following the Vauxhall helicopter crash last month the UK’s largest crane was brought in and we have watched its construction right outside our London office window.

Time lapse is a great way to create a visually stunning video. Get creative with time lapse and you could create a big buzz around your brand. Give consumers a birds eye view of the factory floor, show off a dramatic view, give a unique perspective on a real world event – there’s a ton of possibilities.
Great time-lapse! How many pictures did you take per hour and what’s the frame rate of the video? It would be wonderful if you could publish also a higher resolution version of the time-lapse to show more of the details of the crane repair. Thanks.
Hey Udo, glad you liked it. We shot this at one frame per 5 mins which exported out of our capture software at 12 frames per second. Post production we did a bit of speeding up on the days when little happened so the final export was a bit of a composite. As far as seeing more detail on the crane – we’ll bear that in mind if there’s any more action out there!
Nice to see it in time lapse, some days you would think it was a waste of time turning up to work, but when you see it in time lapse it all becomes clear at the end of the day it all went well and was done safely, I myself was only there for a few days and nights, but its nice to see your film, it just goes to prove you never know who is watching you work in the city, again thanks nice to see.
