A variety of player sizes is important as we recognise the fact that no two videos or websites are ever the same and you will want something that suits your site’s look. So if you record your video in 4x3 (not widescreen) or 16x9 (widescreen) we have the range of player sizes to suit your exact needs.

We encode the video at the time of uploading in the size that you choose so that the picture and sound quality is retained throughout. Users can choose from the following sizes:

•   Small

  Not Widescreen 4x3 (320x240)
  Widescreen (320x180)

•   Medium

  Not Widescreen 4x3 (448x336)
  Widescreen (448x252)

•   Large

  Not Widescreen 4x3 (576x432)
  Widescreen (576x324)

•   Original

  Returns the player in the source's original size

•   High Definition

  768x576 not in fullscreen mode
  1280x720 in fullscreen mode

actual player sizes are larger than the image above

vzaar encodes the video based on the player size dimensions so larger players will have larger file sizes which will effect video bandwidth.
