iFrame embed code 'amends'
Hi There
I have been manually adding FlashVars controls to my embed codes to hide the buffer graphic and all the controls (for my use this was ideal) - if I want my videos to play on iOS5 yet still behave as they do now what do I do? Can I add controls to iFrame codes?
Many thanks for your excellent service :)

Hi there,
Many thanks for your message.
The HTML embed code should still work on iOS5. However, our developers did have to make an update to the embed code to accomodate the new technologies in iOS5.
If you copy the current HTML embed code from your video pages and paste in your current flashvars, it should work fine on mobile devices.
I hope this helps, and please get in touch if you have any more issues.
All the best,
Dan

Just to be clear: it's not necessary to use the iFrame embed code for your videos to work on iOS. HTML embed codes will work fine.
We do recommend using the iFrame embed, because it avoids you having to replace code every time you make a change. However, in your case where you want a very specific function, HTML is definitely best.

Hi Dan
Thank you for that - I had misunderstood :) - I'll use the HTML codes as advised.
I have another question - I did speak to someone via chat on this issue last Friday but I still have the problem. If I should create another ticket for this then just let me know.
The issue is the download link in 'advanced links'. I really do not want that feature - it is buisness critical for me that people cannot just rip the videos from our pages and clever people could view the page source code, find the video ID and then just go crazy. I was told if I disabled downloads from the settings tab this would fix it - I have done that but the functionality remains the same. Is there any way to kill that DL link for my videos?
I appreciate your help - let me know if I need to make a new support case for this one.
Best wishes
Jason

Hi Jason,
It's possible to prevent downloads by setting up 'domain control' with your URL(s).
You can do that on this page: http://vzaar.com/settings/security

Dan
