Terms and Conditions

When you upload a video to vzaar you agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions.

What vzaar is for and what we hope you do

vzaar is for people who want to upload videos and stream them on the Internet. We want you to:

• Upload videos that display the products, items or services you are selling.
• Upload videos that establish your credibility as a genuine and trustworthy business that buyers would like to do business with.

What we don't want you to do

We don't want you to upload bad videos or use your videos in a bad way. We reckon that it's pretty obvious what an inappropriate video is. For starters, make sure you are not breaking any of eBay's listing policies and you can't go far wrong. Here are some things (it's not an exhaustive list) we don't like:

• Videos that break eBay's listing policies.
• Videos that infringe other people's copyright.
• Videos that could be considered tasteless, offensive or obscene. (No porn, no hate stuff and no abuse).
• Videos that invade someone else's privacy.

If you do upload a video that is unsuitable we reserve the right to remove that video. In extreme cases or, for persistent infringing behaviour, we may suspend your account and prohibit further use of the vzaar service. We'll contact you directly and explain any action we take.

Fair Usage

Our package have some limits. We reserve the right to limit users who are exceeding their account bandwidth limits.

Free Users - Users on the free package who surpass 100% of their allocated allowance without upgrading will be considered contravening our fair use policy. As a result we will automatically replace their videos with an upgrade message.

Paying Users - Users on a paid package who surpass 100% of their allocated allowance will be emailed with notification of how to upgrade to an appropriate package. Continuing infringement of this allowance will result in the video content being replaced with a upgrade message. We do go to great lengths to communicate with our users. Users will be emailed when their allowance reaches 80% and 100% and at any time usage can be tracked by logging in to the Accounts page. It is the users responsibility to track their usage and act accordingly.

Users opening multiple accounts in order to circumnavigate these allowances will also be deemed in breach of policy and suspended from the site.

Privacy

We shall treat your personal details with respect. We won't sell or rent them to anyone. You can review our Privacy Policy here

How we'll communicate with you

We have requested your email address so that, if we need to, we can get in touch with you regarding your account. By signing up you are giving us permission to email you updates on the vzaar service and to contact you individually should the need arise.

If you don't want us to, we won't send you any marketing emails or newsletters. You simply need to opt out by clicking on the unsubscribe link in our newsletters or contacting us through the site.

Your Videos

You made your video, so you keep the copyright. But we do like to show off good videos, perhaps by promoting them on our site, in our blog or including them in our newsletters. In these cases we will use a copy of the video so as not to generate plays on your account. Sometimes, when we‚'re talking to journalists and reporters, we like to give them a flavour of vzaar by showing them videos that have been uploaded. When you upload your video to vzaar and embed it in an eBay listing or website, we're assume that you don't mind us sharing that video online and offline.

If you are a paid user and you have selected the privacy option we will not use your video for any of the above mentioned marketing activities.

Paid Packages

You can find full and up-to-date details of vzaar's paid packages here. We reserve the right to change and update what they include and when we do we'll let existing subscribers know at least 30 days in advance. Our payments process works as follows:

• You are billed monthly on the same day you signed up to a paid package.
• Bandwidth limits are reset on the 1st of every month.

We accept payment in US dollars via credit cards or PayPal.

Refunds and Cancellations

You are free to cancel or downgrade your paid package at any time. This can be done via the Settings page. We will not refund subscriptions that have already been paid, unless there we feel there has been an error.

Video Storage

vzaar will store your videos until further notice.

Deleting your Account and Videos

You can request us to delete your account and all your videos at any time by contacting us. We'll delete your account within 7 days. You can also do this via the Settings page.
