Adrian Sevitz

Formally with Accenture (where he worked on a variety of online, digital and video projects) and then eBay, Adrian has considerable experience of launching digital video broadcast and interactive platforms for the likes of Virgin Media and UPC. He was the Senior Manager for site experience and usability at eBay before joining vzaar at launch in 2007.

Adrian has led the development of vzaar’s Online Video Platform, from inception to the powerful product it is today.

From coding on a Radio shack TRS-80 from the age of 5, Adrian has been online since 1994 and started developing websites in 1996. He is a geek in all senses of the word and often considered to be dependent on the Internet for sustenance itself.

1. In your opinion, what’s the best feature vzaar has to offer?

I personally love our podcast feed that allows you to turn your entire stream into a video podcast feed that just updates content onto peoples phones, and iPods.

2. You’re appearing on Mastermind, what’s your specialist subject?

How to get from Hyde Park Corner to Albert Bridge without going through any traffic lights.

3. Do you have a favourite city?

New York. It’s the only place I can get decent chicken noodle and kneidlach soup.

Q. How many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?
A. Fish.

5. Which piece of software have you found most useful?

Sequel Pro - Incredibly useful. I’m a visual guy and this is an awesome way for me to work with the database. If I could marry sequel pro I would.
